“Most assuredly, I say to you, the hour is coming, and now is, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God; and those who hear will live.”
John 5:25

I was praying the other night and was just so overcome by feelings of discouragement and disappointment when the above verse came to mind out of nowhere. Here Jesus speaks words of comfort and affirmation to His people as He reminds us that victory is coming and the day of salvation is near. Just a little while longer. This verse was actually the inspiration behind the above painting that I painted last night. What beauty, what HOPE, fills us as we hear Jesus proclaim life to the dead… to each and every one who will be moved by the sound of His voice.
